Open Level Fiction Workshop

Tuesdays, January 20-February 24

Instructor: Arlaina Tibensky

Meeting Time: 7-9:15pm ET

Location: Online (Zoom)

Price: $525

Patron Price: $475

In this six-week workshop with One Story author and novelist Arlaina Tibensky, each participant will workshop one short story or novel excerpt. We will also do close readings of published fiction, focusing on craft elements such as point of view, description, dialogue, and structure. This intimate ten-person class will meet on Zoom from 7-9:15pm ET each Tuesday night from January 20 to February 24. Tuition includes a 30-minute independent virtual meeting with the instructor.

Designed for passionate writers without significant workshop experience, this class engages with the process in a fun and supportive environment. Enrolled students should plan on having a workshop submission (a 3000-5000 word novel excerpt or short story) ready to send in by Sunday, January 11. More information will be provided upon enrollment.

We have a limited number of scholarships for the class. Scholarships cover 50% of tuition. Recipients will be selected at random. The deadline to request a scholarship is Sunday, January 3. You can apply for one here.
